International Training & Consultancy Project Management

Momentum Management International’s John Murphy has been engaged by Motorsport Australia to lead their international training and consulting activities.

Motorsport Australia is the National Sporting Authority for four-wheeled motorsport in Australia, delegated this responsibility by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and the Australian Federal Government.


As a Regional Training Provider accredited by the FIA, Motorsport Australia provides training and development services to motor sport federations and service providers across the globe, covering areas including:

  • Event operations

  • Strategic and sport planning

  • Driver development
  • Safety and risk management

Since 2015 John has developed and delivered training and consultancy programs to national motor sport bodies in Korea, Nepal, Bangladesh, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand and in 2019 will deliver a number of international training projects on Motorsport Australia’s behalf.

ASN Development & Event Management:

In partnership with Motorsport Australia, Momentum will provide strategic advice on the organizational development of the newly-formed Vietnamese Motorsports Association (VMA), including a lead role in the preparation for the inaugural Formula 1 Vietnamese Grand Prix.

Key elements of the project include:
– Development of the organizational structure, sporting and strategic plans
– Mentoring key VMA staff and officials
– Establishing membership, affiliation and licensing structures
– Event operations, documentation and compliance
– Recruitment and retention of key officials
– Management of motorsport stakeholder engagement

John Murphy will also manage the training and development plan for over 900 VMA officials to ensure successful delivery of the event.

Momentum’s John Murphy will lead the development and execution of Motum’s strategic marketing, business development, partnerships, distribution and E-Sports strategies, with a particular focus on the North American motorsport market.

Momentum Management International works with Miles Davis Consulting to provide valuable solutions to Australian export businesses through Austrade’s Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) Program.
